Congress is in recess, which means that our reps are at home in our states, reachable and ready to hear our concerns as constituents. So write letters and make phone calls while the sun shines!
My action this week is to contact senators to urge them to support S.1105, the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007. Unlike previous anti-hate crimes laws, this bill is transgender-inclusive.

Previous actions are still valid (except the expansion of FISA powers), so feel free to go crazy while your reps are local!
Oh, and by the way, the number of members of Congress that support impeaching Cheney has gone up to 16. Keep on movin', don't stop, unh...
